On behalf of the Officers and Members of The National Park Fire Department we would like to thank you for your interest in our organization. As an active volunteer, you will receive a valuable firefighting education along with the rewarding experience of serving your community.


Listed below are the types of membership offered and the requirements for each.

 

Active Membership: (Firefighter / EMT)
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must reside within 2 miles of the Firehouse
    • Must complete all required paperwork and medical exams
    • Must maintain active percentages in all fire department activities
    • Must complete Firefighter – I or EMT training within 1 year of membership
    • Must obtain state certification within 1 year of membership

Junior Membership (Under 18)
    • Must be between the ages of 14 and 18 years old
    • Must reside within 2 miles of the Firehouse
    • Must complete all required paperwork and medical exams
    • Must obtain parental consent
    • Must maintain active percentages in all fire department activities

Social Membership (Non – Fire suppression or Medical)
    • Must be over the age of 18 years old
    • Must reside within 2 miles of the Firehouse
    • Must complete all required paperwork
    • Must maintain active percentages in all non-Fire or Medical activities
